The alchemical tradition of Shovani, witch doctoring leans more heavily on natural ingredients than chemicals, using parts of animals and herbs found in nature to concoct powerful remedies and potions. Lizardfolk who take up this path are respected in Shovani for their wisdom and council, but also somewhat isolated due to the Shovani's superstitions concerning any magic that does not come from Leviathan.
Shovani witch doctors are also responsible for some of the more chemical weapons employed by the Shovani military.
