Shovani Scaleguard

Scaleguard are a group of elite heavy infantry charged with locating and bringing home all of Leviathan's "children," aka other hydras. Scaleguard also serve in a variety of high=profile military assignments, from guarding VIPs to protecting the temple of Leviathan itself.
High ranking scaleguard sometimes earn a literal scale from Leviathan, a powerful material often crafted into shields. These shields are considered deeply sacred, and woe to the one who loses or steals one of them.
