Allacraus Inquisitor

One of the elite church officers charged with rooting out monsters, abominations and mutants all across the very haunted and very troubled land of Allacraus. Inquisitors enjoy a certain authority and generate a significant amount of fear, as their word is often enough to condemn an ordinary citizen to the gallows or worse.
Some Inquisitors stay in one city, getting to know and manage the local populace, and a decent sized city in Allacraus likely has several Inquisitors. Others travel the countryside, rooting out evil in more rural locations. This is the first assignment many inquisitors receive after passing their basic tests.
Still other inquisitors operate in secret, pretending to be ordinary clerics or even heretics themselves until the time is right to reveal themselves to their prey.
