Suthlanders

Those born in the warm lands north of the Elven Domain and south of the Gazran wastes are typically referred to as Suthlanders. Quick to adopt Magic originally taught to the Elves by Ysoli these people set up permanent homes in the far-away City of Findholm and the Capital Lenrevy. However in their haste to adopt Magic they grew to distrust the Dwarven Harvested Sky-metal supposedly left behind by Ancient Demi-gods that roamed the surface of the world in ages long past as it seems to have some impact on the local leylines and magical weft.

Respect is earned both through service, age, or by virtue. Hard-work, especially volunteer work, will be rewarded. Inquisitive minds are given space to work.

Common Etiquette rules

Handshakes between equals are common. Bowing to those above you (Age, Wealth, Rank) is normal.

Common Dress code

Gloves are always in style.
Men wear long pants tucked into boots usually.
Women, unless serving in the military, as adventurers, or are otherwise unable to, wear long dresses.

Courtship is generally long, at least three years of being together before marriage is considered.

Relationship Ideals

Relationships, both friendly and romantic are the cornerstone of Southern Kingdom exchange. Those that are acquainted are friends, those that have spent significant time together are considered close friends or even quasi-family.
