Lenrevy
Founded in 3295 HE after the Demi-Liches defeat, The Beacon of Hope, Lenrevy, stands as the only walled settlement south of Gazra's Temple. The people there refer to themselves and Lenvyians.
Geography
Situated at the splitting of the Ancspire into the two smaller ranges of the Gianian and the Rondel spires, Lenrevy is a highly fortified and defensible location leading it to be prosperous as they manage trade with the dwarves and the Northern Tribespeople. The Walls of the city itself form a 12 mile hexagonal shape with the city then subdivided into 7 districts. The District Noblesse
The Top left-hand district, closest to the Rondel Spires is the 'District Noblesse' or the Noble's District. Walled in from everywhere except the Royal Road this district houses the wealthy and those that have been gifted housing from the Royal Family. Posh, and well to do with their own hired mercenaries only those that can prove that they own housing there or have a letter of invitation are allowed in the districts walls. The Bookends
The middle left hand district, Close to the Noble Disctrict, and sandwiched above the Merchant's Quarter is the District Academia, called the Bookends by Lenvyian. Several libraries, Academies, and other places of learning are here. Boasting of over nine different Colleges specific to Wizard traditions, including an Alchemist Craftorium and a school devoted to the Ancient Mages Discipline. The Merchant's Quarter
The lower left hand district is the one that's most travelled to. The Merchant's Quarter. A rich center of trade where even some elves can be found trading begrudgingly with the friendly populace. With the focus Lenrevy has on academia and magic it's no surprise that the Merchant's Quarter is a host to several magic item and alchemy focused shops. The Queen's Corner
The Lowest Right hand side of Lenrevy is one that most don't talk about. It's where those that either can't or won't work for the myriad of shops and other businesses of the city stay. Granted housing by the Queen herself out of generosity and provided at least two meals of day (consisting of cheap bread, clean water, and surplus eggs and butcher offal sausages). The Commons
The middle right hand district is one of quiet peace. The Commons are where most of the people of Lenrevy live. Dotted with the occasional Park or garden this district doesn't have the same elitist air as the Noblesse District, but also doesn't garner the same disgust as the Queen's Corner. A place that, in a large metropolis of magic, is surprisingly blasé.The Divinity Square
The Last District, the top right hand district, is home to the myriad of temples devoted to the divine figures.Royal Garden
The Middle most district of Lenrevy. Home the the Galdry Citadel, and the Lyssia Gardens. A beautiful and well-kept district that has a major road branching out into a wagon wheel pattern that reaches all six other districts.Government
Lenrevy is ran primarily by the Royal Family, King Galdry and Queen Lyssia and their three children. However their grace is assisted by the Council of Law. A group of representative elected by each quarter (minus the Royal Garden) to make sure that all citizens are have their issues heard and that laws are being created that benefit everyone.
