Lenrevy

To the Nation that is Lenrevy there are two 'Kingdoms' both alike but different. To the North there are the Ancspire mountains. Towering peaks of Star-metals and forgotten shells of ancient civilizations that came before. To the South there are open plains dominated by forests older than the elves that live among the treetops. Lenrevy isn't a nation of war, and although turmoil both natural and political has happened, Lenrevy is currently at peace.   Magic is common among the Southerners, but typically shunned by the Northerners. It was taught by the Elves in their cities among the clouds in the trees. Whereas the Humans of the North learned smithing techniques from the dwarves that frequently mine out entire chunks of the mountain range for their metals. Magic can be studied as it can also frequently just 'appear' in a bloodline, and the meddling of the Gods can impact that as well.   A pantheon of Gods watch over Lenrevy with interest and as much political intrigue as the mortals below them. Rond, the God of Law, Honor, and Civilization compels his followers to target those who worship Gia, the God/dess of freedom, love and creation, neither good nor evil. While Ysoli, Mother of Poisons weaves dark and mysterious urgings to fight against Wynolinn Father of the Woods to those that find their way into nature worship. Lastly Miora stands alone as the dual faces of the Goddess of Night's Darkness and also the Last Whisper, the-one-who-ends-the-mortal-cycles.   Aside from the Machinations of Divines, Lenrevy isn't safe however. Ancient evils trapped in the Northern mountains and buried in southern crypts occasionally rise to the surface to cause havoc and destruction in their wake. reminders of past ages aren't uncommon in Lenrevy and until recently peace was hard fought for and maintained through might of armies and alliances.   Lenrevy is on the cusp of a new age.
