Power of Geonature is the ability to sense and manipulate energy present within materials from the earth such as rocks, precious stones, and metals.

Geonature Terminology

Disciplines of Geonature

Fabricant Geonature

Fabricant Geonature focus on the creation of objects, such as jewelry, weapons, and household items, or art pieces such as sculptures, vases, and statues. Aggregants can manipulate the energy within objects they make to accomplish a number of things including making them lighter, stronger, or somehow react to other energies. A fabricant aggregant may specialize in stone, metal, precious stones, glass, or ceramic. While smaller shops may choose a single specialty, large workshops generally employ a variety of specialists who work together.

Constructive Geonature

Constructive Geonature focuses on the use of stone and other earth materials in building. A Constructive aggregant can sense the strength of building materials before use, the stability of a foundation, and the weak points in a structure. They can also manipulate the energies they can sense in order to stabilize the structure or achieve architectural feats that would otherwise be impossible.

Natural Geonature

Natural Geonature is the study of geological formations and things still within the earth. Studying energy naturally present in the earth allows for early warnings of earthquakes, landslides, and volcanic activity. Natural aggregants are useful in the mining industry for both being able to locate mineral deposits and being able to sense the potential for collapses. Sensing collapses was a useful skill for cave-dwelling tribes in ancient times.

Amperant Geonature

Amperant Geonature is a relatively new field of Geonature. It focuses on manipulating energies within metal materials for the purpose of creating a current. The current allows the component to absorb energy from a source and transfer it somewhere else. That current of energy can then be used to power just about anything from giant machines to household light bulbs. The energy can also be stored in metal components, however the physical limits of the components must be adhered to or there is risk if explosion if too much energy is forced into it.

The use of Geonature requires the aggregant to be physically touching whatever object they are working on.

Fading of Energy Manipulation

Over time, the energy within an object will revert back to its original state if not maintained. This varies depending on the skill of the aggregant and the material in question. Some aggregants make a living by reinforcing energy manipulation, whether of their own creation or someone else's. Highly specialized workshops will include scheduled reinforcement as part of the sale of products.

Creation of Explosives

Geonature can be used to create different kind of explosives. The simplest way involves twisting the energy of a rock into such a sensitive mess that so much as touching it will disrupt it and cause a violent release, which is useful in combat situations as grenades (when handled carefully) and mines. Fulgeans are developing safer explosives using amperant Geonature that use energy currents as triggers instead of physical contact.
