Lady Elsha Deiandre Daelond
Elsha Daelond, one of the founders of Taliesin, is one of Maeveen's closest friends, and the only one of them to survive the War of the Enemy. A diplomat and advisor to queens, she is fiercely loyal and dependable. Though she is a powerful warrior, she prefers to avoid fighting, and will seek a non-violent solution to any situation.

Personal history
During the Founding Wars, she joined up with Maeveen to become one of her most loyal lieutenants, and was rewarded by becoming one of the first nobles in Taliesin. After her rebirth, she served as Maeveen's Second Lieutenant, and became mother to four children, three of whom died in the War of the Enemy. After Andrea's coronation, she served as her chief advisor, and handed off her title of Lady of Copperville to her daughter Maya shortly before her death. She would be reborn a second time just before the Enemy rose again, but was killed in a major battle prior to the beginning of the War of the Firebird.
