Session 2 - Finding Floon
General Summary
After striking an arrangement with Volo, the party set forth to discover what had happened to the socialite Floon Blagmaar. The team made their way to the last known the location, The Skewered Dragon tavern. Upon entering East Freeport the party witnessed the aftermath of a skirmish between member of The Coalition and The Eyes of Freeport. The street was littered with dead members of both factions with the surviving Coalition members being arrested by the Freeport Militia. The party entered the Skewered Dragon tavern and the bartender Dil informed Kebaz to not have a repeat of his last time at the tavern.
After cooler minds and questionable beer smoothed over the situation, Glibb was able to gather that Floon and Volo were drinking together the night before but after Volo left another man, Renaer Brandath continued the festivities with Floon. They were harassed by some of the local dock workers who disliked a "couple of spoiled rich kids" drinking at the Dragon. When the two men left the group followed them. Dil stated the men worked at one of the warehouses on Candle Lane past Xoblob's Shop.
The party then made their way to Candle Lane and stumbled upon the very violet shop owned by the enigmatic Xoblob. Pleasantries and a beautiful purple ink from Pashar Viperhand led to Xoblob informing the party that he saw the group of men ambush to two gentlemen they described and was dragged to the warehouse with the Coalition symbol on the door. A quick scope of the place led to a broken window as Kebaz, Jelo Mireblade, and Diego Acosta led the team to the first floor of the abandoned warehouse.
Inside the party found the remnants of a slaughter with many men slain that were Coalition affiliated. The assailants were soon discovered as Aviaks that ambushed the party.
