Pushpak Vimana

Vimāna are mythological flying palaces or chariots described in Hindu texts and Sanskrit epics.  Vimanas are described as flying cars or celestial cars.   The 'Pushpaka Vimana'or 'flower chariot' of Ravana is the most famous example of a vimana.

A vimāna is defined as 'a car or a chariot of the gods or any self-moving aerial car or palace'.  In some Indian languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi, vimana or vimanam means 'aircraft'.

A Vimana is mythological flying machine as described in Sanskrit texts like Yajurveda, Mahabharata, Samarangana Sutradhara, Rigveda, Ramayana, etc.   According to myth, the Pushpaka Vimana could travel in the air,  into space, and even under water. The Pushpak Vimana can fly at great heights with the aid of quicksilver and a great propulsive wind. It can travel vast distances and manoeuvre upwards, downwards and forwards.   The Pushpak Vimana was discovered by Srinivasa Avasarala 's great-grandfather on an archeological dig in South India. He decided it would be best used as transport for the Academy and donated it to Legend Valley.    The magical technology (or magitech) behind the Pushpaka Vimana was reverse-engineered and patented by the Academy.
“Once the Vimana was donated to the Academy, the yaksha magic was reverse-engineered so that it could be applied to more vehicles. The Academy holds the patent for the tech, which is how they make most of the money for the school. No donors needed.”   - Notorious, Legend Valley Academy, Book 1
