Right, I'm back book! here to tell you all thats happened in the last few days since we discovered our weird special tattoo's. Well, at first nuthin much, it was business as usual. I tend to my apples and animals, the festival continues but more in the evening instead of all day. Probably because people got tired of drinking and dancin' all day, Maw always said too much of a good thing can be bad for people. Paw would have just said "people just need to get back to their work." Either way, we are still have fun in the evenings, so I just need to finish my work extra early is all.
Especially if I want to catch up to my good friend Fyfe, maybe he doesn't see it but he is a friend in my book. He is one of the few people that talks to me with holding back words. Plus, he is one of the very few people that's different, like me! But he isn't my only friend, Cherry is a friend too. She just has to work alot and I respect that, but she is really nice to me. She doesn't seem that scared of me, that or she is too polite to tell me, HA! Anyways, as I was talkin to Fyfe, he asked me a question that really got me thinkin. What if I left the farm and joined him on his travels? I mean, I can't just leave the farm. Who's going to take care of my apples! Goats! and cows! Well, i guess the farm down the road could help, I help them out plenty of times and they always say they will repay me someday. Still, I'll have to think about it and get an answer to Fyfe before he leaves.
Later I ran into miss Marda, she wacked me with her cane and it took me a minute but I found her. She told me I was number one and gave me a little medallion! I don't remember entering a contest but I'm I came out as number one. She told me to use it to...I think prick the veil? does that mean I poke it when the time comes? Mind the veil? She also told me to stop the broken dance. I didn't even know there was a dance today, but I have to stop it? She also told me to mind my mark, at first I though it was the medal before she wacked me again and told me about the strange tattoo I got. In the end she told me to mind the others, maybe they will guide me when the time comes.
The fog is getting thick now, I'll write in you again later. Some people around me seem nervous about it and I should probably help them.

Festival Day
Right, Maw always said I should write down my feelin’s and thoughts and what not down in this special book. Just thought about her today, she always loved the river festival. She would’ve been excited it got extended another week! She always was wanten to be first in line to put her wish in the wishing tree. When I got bigger I always lifted her up so she could place hers as high as mine. Says this way the spirts would give special attention to high ones.
I miss maw and pop…
Anyways, I should tell you about me day! Well, it started off like any other day. I check the apples in the trees, I feed the goats and cows, and I checked on the fence. I actually found a piece broken piece, might be Finnik and Lora again sneaking on to play with the goats. Don’t know why they’ed be sneakin around, I’d let them play with them if they ask. Maybe they think I’m too busy! Be right kind for them too do. But back to the fence, good thing about being my size is I can clobber the post back into the ground HAHA!
Once the farm is taken care of I decided to go into town, they might need help fixen the place up. But as I walked down I saw a birdie trapped under that stone I see all the time. You know I had to stop and help out Mr. Birdie. If it is a Mr, I know nuffin about telling birds apart, I just think they’re cool flyen about. But as I lifted up the stone to let Mr. Birdie out a big bee stung me left shoulder! Well, I don’t know if it’s a bee, it just stung like one.
Later on as I passed the tavern I ran into Fefe again! Or was it Fyfe? Anyway he fell out of the sky again! He seems to have a knack for falling out of the sky. Maybe he is part bird too! But I remember runnin’ into him like it was last week, maybe because it was last week. I thought one of my goats ended up in one of my trees. I was shocked to see a person attached to those goat legs! He was just a hungry feller, one of the few people who didn’t mind my size the first time he saw me. Well, the first to not be afraid so quickly. Still, I was happy to run into him again.
Next best thing was I got a new friend! Her name is Cherry and she was really nice to me. Didn’t mind that I blocked her view and caused her to fall out her seat. Also one of the few people who weren’t afraid of me on the spot. She told me she worked at the Inn and I figured she was new. We talked and listened to the story teller, she must really like stories with all the books she carries. But soon enough, we were joined by Davim, and Fyfe. Just in time too, one of the other ladies fell asleep and was talkin in her sleep. We carried her to the wise woman. I think she gets wiser or smarter with beer, wish that happen to me. Maybe Elder Stape wouldn’t have gotten mad at me for accidentally falling on the pig pen and releasing all the pigs in the village.
After we woke her up Cherry got stung too! turns out a lot of us were stung! but here is were it got freaky, we got surpise tattoos! Cherry got a book with letters coming out, Fyfe got antlers and leaves in a whirlwind, Davrim got a broken ring encased in fire on an anvil, and I got a sun bursting out of a mountain range. Just like what was on the stone! I don't know what elder Stape was supposed to be but all I saw was a bunch of dots.
Today has been a very magical day.
