Session 11: Things That Go Slash In The Night

General Summary

Previous Report : Session 10: If You Lose Your Kit, You Have To Replace It

• The party follow Leena Percivale to the homestead, jus toutside of Madwick.
• During their journey the sun sets and a thick fog descends upon the land.
• The party become separated in their nightmares.
  • Jacq'ee Lumber and Talon Gold found themselves in a forest with the Raven which Jacq'ee Lumber had previously spoken too. He gave a warning that something was coming for them. Skeletons of Talon Golds past echoes begin to appear from the treeline as several trees begin to move forward. The echoes told Talon that he must pay for deserting them in this world. Both the trees and echoes began their assault on Talon and Jackie.
  • Ashe and Dia found themselves in Finnick, Dias home town. They travelled to the centre where they found the great oak tree to have lost it's bloom. Two graves lay in front of the tree and upon investigation, they discovered it was their own graves. With the townsfolk beginning to attack, Ashe and Dia jumped into their graves.
  • Kit found himself in Yabott with Machali at his side. They enter into the great hall to find Rowen Ashe presiding over a meeting of Shades. He welcomes Christol 'Kit' Abistel before presenting him with the charges of the court. Kit is found guilty through blood for the atrocities committed by his sister, Adeste. Kit accepts these charges as the Shades move forward to execute him on Rowen's orders.
• Each of the party members come to in the thick fog, gradually finding one another before finding Leena Percivale in a heap.
• The party hear a screech from an animal at the homestead, the party head on and leave Dia B. Lerist to temporarily look after Leena Percivale as she recovers from the nightmare.

• Coming into the homestead, the party find a strange beast feasting on a pig's carcass.
• The party attack, eventually felling the large beast however a ominous howl alerts them to the presence of a second beast.
• The second beast attacks from the shadows, nearly killing Dia B. Lerist before eventually falling to Jackie and Kit's blades.

• The party hunker down in the homestead's house to rest after the battle.
