Character Creation Guideline

Do not take any racial ability score increase. We are using Tasha's Cauldron of Everything guidelines to customize abilities based on a character's unique and complex origins rather than increasing or decreasing abilities based on racial traits.

• Choose whether you are a small or medium humanoid. Choose between small walking speed of 25ft or medium walking speed of 30ft.
• Choose either 60ft of Darkvision or an additional skill of your choice.
• Increase your Ability Scores normally gained from a race to ability scores of your choice. In layman terms, add +2 to any ability score or +1 to any two abilities scores.
• Modify any proficiencies to gain a different proficiency if wanted. Switch proficiencies within the same category - skill to skill, weapon or tool proficiencies to another weapon/tool proficiency, etc., to better match your character.
• Add 1 Feat of your choice.
• Choose Common and any language of your choice when gaining a language.
• Choose starting equipment, armor and weapons according to the rules. Also give your character starting gold according to background (for example Artificer starting gold is 5d4 x10).
