The commonwealth is simalar to the alliance in being made up of diffrent races with common goals. The difference is in the desires of the commonwealth. While the alliance focuses on economics and spreading its borders to gain more resources. The commonwealth is more about maintaining the traditions of the races that joined it. It is not a group about expansion, but protection against invaders. The common wealth became enemies of the alliance as they sit a top a good chunk of the garden planets perfect for life. Though after the second galactic war they have stood strong thanks to the diverse abilities of the races within.
