The Oath of Undoing

In the rath of Lith Kala, the "Three Rebels" - the orc Zilyazi Suruk, the elf Giladd Silverbow, and the human Eikos Bheur - swear a blood oath to bring down the Katari Empire and free their people, no matter the cost. They are said to have awakened from slumber an ancient god known only as the Breaker of Chains, who promised to aid them in their struggle. When, mere weeks later, the geasa that bound the orcish auxillaries to their Katari masters suddenly fail, it is said to be the work of the Breaker of Chains.
