Yarjerit Kallistratos

A dragonborn descended from a sept of the “Azure Abyss” clan Yarjerit that have dwelled in the Isles of the Wrecking Tide for several centuries, hatched 1287 AK. Trained at Kalamak, achieving Adepthood in 1311 AK. His thesis, “Dathrinithar’s Vindication: A Reconstruction of the Book of White Wood”, provoked outrage from the Teriani emissary to the Collegium Coniuratio due to allegedly revealing a number of politically and theologically sensitive secrets of the ruling Lunar Council. Under significant political pressure, the Collegium stripped him of his rank and expelled him from Kalamak in 1313 AK; we are told that the Teriani had threatened to provide magical and military backing to the Balthans against Aldernord purely to suppress Kallistratos’ work, though we cannot confirm the veracity of this rumour. All known copies of his thesis were destroyed by the Collegium Coniuratio, though Kallistratos was able to smuggle the original manuscript out of Kalamak and it is now in our possession. After two alleged assassination attempts by Teriani agents, he was recruited by the Gilded Tower through certain intermediaries, and took up a post as a junior librarian here in 1314 AK; he has remained in Gildenschloss ever since, and was appointed Master of Libraries in 1336 AK. He is in a longstanding relationship with Kimbatuul Yazbaneferu; the pair have three hatchlings who are enrolled as apprentices in the Academy.
Whilst we are under no illusions that the Teriani are unaware of Kallistratos’ presence in the Gilded Tower, we urge that all information relating to him is treated with the greatest of caution as there remains a state of heightened threat against him.
