Born 1322 AK into the High House of Votellian, and given over to the Hospital of Ekirena when it became clear that she was a tiefling (I shall not comment on the precise details of her parentage; if she tells you, that’s on her). Enrolled as an apprentice of the Academy, though was a barely-adequate student at best; nonetheless she showed certain talents and was at length permitted to advance through the course of her apprenticeship. Renounced her claim to the High Nobility at the age of eighteen and was immediately anointed a Banner-Knight of House Votellian. Entered the Hellborn Host in 1340 AK and prospered rather better in that environment; raised to the rank of Knight-Sentinel in 1344 AK.

Endurance - who also goes by the name "Esme" in some contexts - is a tiefling soldier of the Hellborn Host, an elite military unit associated with the Gilded Tower.
She is known to be a close friend of Motion Ashbrook-Sarren.
