Athanni ur-Eku

Life

According to Tdjaia'ucchan, they were a "child of the gods". They believed that the differences between the souls of gods and mortals were essentially arbitrary, and that any barrier between the two was artificial, having been created by the High Gods to allow them to rule unopposed.   In the portraits owned by Ambrosius, they are depicted as an Aasimar.

[...] No, that will not do at all. Very well, if that is truly impossible, we bid you erase all prior traces of our presence, and begin to do likewise for the others [...]

The Call of the Fourth

And the fourth spoke: “I seize divinity for those that would stand beyond; that we might transcend all boundaries and bring forth ascension - let there be no limitation nor restriction within my domain. I claim Infinity, for I have beheld the Face of the King, and pledge myself thus to Victorious Night”

Aftermath

Tdjaia'ucchan claimed that they became trapped in their own lies, convincing themself that they were the Azoth, and unable to tell truth from falsehood.

The War of the Paragons

Tdjaia'ucchan claimed that they initially worked with Oruban and Skalx to avert the cataclysm by rebuilding the godhead, and that Balamir might be able to do so by convincing the universe that it was possible. This would require the sacrifice of three quarters of the souls in creation; another solution would involve Balamir consuming a third of all the souls in creation, empowering them to pass through the gates and consume entire other universes in order to shore up this one.   Their throne is believed to have been in Eku, though it is rumoured to have been relocated to the city which is now known as Achyras at some point.   According to Elia, Athanni once wielded the Hexblade sword known as Truth from Authority.

Binding

Tdjaia'ucchan claimed that they were bound inside the weapon that Xochehuasti used to destroy Tchokayahattak, and that it was likely that their soul still remained within the weapon. Morkath's Account corroborates this claim.

Followers

Nothing is known of what followers Athanni may have in the present day.

Legacy

Little is known of what influence Athanni may continue to have upon the world; however the parallels with the demonic Goldentongue of the Light of Kassin suggest that they may retain some level of influence within the material world.
