  Somerset is an independent kingdom between Logres and Escavalon. It has managed to retain its independence by means of its nobles withdrawing to hide in the marshes whenever necessary. It includes the cities of Wells, Bath, the abbey of Glastonbury, and of course the Avalon Mashes. Its current ruler is King Cadwy. Locations   Bath, capital city of Somerset. In Latin the city is called Aqua Sulis, or the Baths of Sulis, due to the magical healing properties of its springs. It is three days’ ride from Sarum. It is now the site of a monastery. Ynys Avalon is a magical isle of the Ladies of the Lake, a pagan sisterhood. It can be reached only by magical means. Wells is the largest city of the kingdom.
