Not particularly brave nor loyal, his reluctance to support Uther fully earned him the nickname "The Reluctant Vassal". As one of the last surviving members of the Supreme Collegium, he feels more entitled to respect than ever before. Family   Derfel, nephew and heir History 487   Was visited by King Uther Pendragon. Lindsey had been a relucatant (and sometimes disobedient) vassal for some time, but on the presentation of Excalibur he rose to his feet and swore fealty again. 490   Was present at the Battle of Lindsey. Held celebrations in his home court after the victory. 491   Attended funeral of Prince Madoc. 494   Trapped in Lindsey over the winter as a result of a Saxon siege. 495   Remained in his castle as the Saxons made their way south. As he was unable to attend the Infammous Feast he survived being poisoned and thus, at least in theory, is one of the most powerful lords of Logres remaining.
