CDLXVII a.D. - la fuite de Vortigern

General Summary

Vortigern is besieged at Carlion by Aurelius, but manages to escape. Vortigern flees to Ganarew Castle on Mount Snowdon, on the River Wye in Ergyng. Aurelius follows, accepting the submission of those loyal to Vortigern.

En Césarée Maxime :

Aurelius Ambrosius continues his war against Vortigern, who calls on his remaining Loyalists to fight for him. Berroc Saxons send what available fighting men they have. Aurelius Ambrosius besieges Vortigern at Carlion, but Vortigern manages to escape. Aurelius then marches through Cambria and central Logres, accepting the submission of those previously loyal to Vortigern. Many small battles are fought, but no major ones. He also starts rebuilding those churches that were burned to the ground by the Saxons.
