V’lumen, forest sanctuary of Laptima
This dense forest has a life of its own. Rare travelers from the central nations have passed on tales of usual plants and trees, some of which are ambulatory, vibrantly colored snakes, frogs and giant insects, and an odd serenity despite seeming natural dangers.
The erdei manor (forest elves) represent the largest portion of the sentient population. They form small communities as an extension of nature. Kentaur (centaurs) sometimes live among the erdei mano, but many wander in small tribes. Tündér (sprites/pixies) are magically-infused flying people smaller than a dwarf’s hand, and kerti törpe (forest gnomes) stand only a couple hands high and seem to be innately able to communicate with animals. These latter people are the most likely to be seen outside of V’lumen, as they all have wanderlust.
Even the ezust sarkany (silver dragons) historian-scholars are uncertain when the majority of V’lumen’s races left the idyllic island nation of Auria Av Lumaria far to the west on the Sea of Calm. It’s also unknown why.
