Arkania, warlords of the northern icewastes
This northern ‘country’ is primarily an old mountain range which emerges from the Frigid Sea and moved south, splitting east and west around the Sea of Ales. Its windy, biting cold acts as a natural deterrent to any who might wander there.
The lands are sparsely populated, but when people are found, they are usually the eszaki ember (northern humans). These large and burly denizens live in small towns and villages which sometimes raid each other since there is often little to eat and crops tend to fail due to unexpected frosts amidst their few warm months of the year. The feher sarkany (white dragons) also live in the mountains of Arkania, though usually far higher than other creatures. Some of the feher sarkarny are more ambitious and rule over hundreds or thousands of eszaki ember as overlords. Finally, although an incredibly rare sight, some of these more ambitious dragons have rez draak (copper draconian) agents who aid their rule of law absolute. It’s a mystery where they come from, however, since no one has reportedly seen a copper dragon in millennia.
