The Months, According to the Ilisuaqian Empire
(1) Return of the Gods- named for the return of the gods, who are silent throughout the dark months
(2) Muddy- named because the rains of the dark months leaves the land very muddy
(3) Blossoming- named for the blossoming of the land
(4) Gathering- named for the gathering of the warriors
(5) Battle- named for the time of year in which the ancient clans would battle
(6) Mourning- named for the ritual mourning of dead heroes
(7) Harvest- named for the harvest month
(8) Eighth- named because it's the eighth month of the year
(9) Reveler- named for Reveler, god of joyfulness and madness
(10) Resting- named for first of the dark months, when work is complete, and the people can rest
(11) Words- named for the time of the telling of stories
(12) Uncertainty- named for the uncertainty of the dark months- will the gods truly return?
The Extras- the days that do not make a full month, added to keep the calendar equal with the seasons
