Description

Holstuar stand just on average a bit taller than most humans, and many of them, even females despite what might be thought, have horns on top their heads along with thin tails matching their source animal. The biggest difference one will spot between other races and the Holstuar is the female's and futa's chest, being much more endowed in that area than almost all other races.
Additionally, they tend to be on the stronger side physically, even if their muscles do not show for it.
Holstuar are among the most common of the races to enjoy a ranch life style, and many ranches specialize in caring for and milking Holstuar speifically (more below)

Origin

A now dead demonc prince crated the Holstuars, while his name is not lost away to locked archives, his primal sin of gluttony is what drove him to make the Holstuar. Finding mundane cattle to much of a hassle to move around in realm, he warped some of his prized heard into more human forms, and gave them the intelligence to listen and obey. Gifting a few of the new Holstuars to his most loyal subjects. But the once slave race wasn't one for long, as with many gluttony demon prince and princesses their want for more and more food to sate their hunger eventually lead to a conflict with another demon prince, where the prince of gluttony was slain, and leaving all of his minions, including the Holstuar free from his grasp.

Wild and tamed

Forced guild standardization strikes again, as no "wild" populations as one would hear about from other beast-folk exist, but for the sake of the guild keeping all of theses logs standardized:

Tame

If there is a enough of a difference to mark some Holstuar as "wild" and some as "tamed" that being the ranches Many of Holstuar will find them selves employed, living, and well taken care of in beast-folk ranches, as mentioned above most ranches are Holstuar specific ranches, with the ones that don't specialize still having a few living on their grounds.
The main reason is simple: Milk, Holstuar females and futa will produce milk as soon as they are adults, even if they have never been or intend on being pregnant. While it is more costly than normal beast milk, Holstuar milk is quite popular, and tends to be preferred over mundane cow's milk by those who can afford it as a staple. There are a few reasons for this
First: Since Holstuar are not animals, they can communicate with the ranchers better when something is wrong, as such problems that could have knock on effects for the entire herd are taken care of quickly, meaning less sick Holstuar, and less bad milk.
Second: While complete diet control if frowned upon by most if not all ranch guilds, some control is accepted, this means the Holstuar can be fed more specific diets that control and improve the taste and qauility of their milk.
Third (Well second part two): The Holsuars have a relavitly low natural mana pool, "storing" excess where they can with in their bodies to get rid of it later, specifically in their chest, and if fed mana rich foods, said mana will be stored in the milk, and will remain in the milk should be kept in proper storage. This means Holstuar milk can and is used as pseudo mana potions. (More details below)

Wild

As mentioned above, almost not Holstuar go for a "wild" life style, preferring the confronts of towns a cities, though not all like the idea of the ranch life style, that population is what I'm referring here as the wild ones. Finding empolyement as laborers, care givers, and even wet nurses should they be female or futa, Holstuar happily live among the other races, though, their chests can become an issues, as they always produce milk, and need to be emptied, thankfully there are a few ways to deal with this issue.
Guilds and ranches will often offer a milking service, either asking for the milk, or a small fee, even to Holstuars not living on their lands. While not cheep, milking equipment for home milking can also be bought. Of course, it's also not hard to do a hand milking, should it have to come to it, though you will need a friend to help with that.
Although, a "close" friend drinking from the source is a fun bonding experience. Gently suckleing on a Holstuars, large, and soft chest is wondering for both parties involved, thought do make sure the one nursing is thirsty, as their breasts are large for a reason, to hold lots and lots of thick, creamy milk, witch will fill your mouth with each suck on their nipples. Many a Holstuar have told me this is the preferred way for them to be milked even, though I'd let them approach you about the subject first, should you have any Holstuar friends. Just be careful, depending on what mana may be within the milk, you two may end up "bonding" a bit more than intended.

Mana rich milk

While almost Holstuar milk is "mana rich" to soem degree I am referring to milk harvested from a Holstuar who has had a partially mana rich diet. The resulting milk from such diets are more or less mana potions, though not as potent as the real things, those who need extra mana for day to day life, but have issues drinking real potions (Specially the taste) and have no need for the power of a normal potion may opt for mana rich Holstuar milk instead. See other journal entries and logs for what the different mana rich milks may do, as they have basically the same effects as coming in contact with the physical versions of the mana. The most popular examples are; Pure arcane, for the long list of things that helps with. Life, for general health, and helping sick infants recover. And earth, again for health, but for resisting toxins and the like. Wind aspected milk is also rarely used by cooks, as they claim it's easy to froth, with out affacting the taste compaired to unaspected milk.
