Aribesh
Once, there were 13 deities. Amongst them was Aribesh. The power he had obtained was tainted and twisted his mind. While the 12 created the world, Aribesh twisted their creations into horrors that repulsed even his fellow deities. As his madness grew, so did his power. Until the 12 decided that he must be stopped.
Tialyn was sent to draw him into a trap, earning her the domain of deception.
They bound him and stripped him on everything. His power, his form, even his memories. They worked to erase him from history and destroyed any of his creations they found. Finally, they attempted to destroy him. Aribesh shattered and the fragments of his being were dispersed throughout Laronde.
The largest piece landed near Imari. A young human man happened to be in the forest where it landed. His curiosity got the better of him, and he placed his hand upon the strange crystal.
Aribesh seized control of this man and began his new existance. But without his memories, he could do very little. He travelled the world, finding a few fragments of his old self. When the journey grew too arduous for his form, he would return to Imari to recover. During such a recovery, he was awakened. 2 Teifling children were being attacked by several human children. Aribeth, irritated by the intrusion, stepped in to protect the children.
