With a variety of natural resources available, and trading access to those that aren’t, the Kingdom of Larcen is making leaps and bounds in the development of magic and machine.   However, beneath the veneer of paradise, trouble is brewing. External powers eye the emerald isle like hungry wolves, and there are those within Larcen’s borders that would gladly see it fall for a pretty penny or a sliver of power. Pirates swarm just beyond the reach of Larcen’s mighty, yet restrained navy, happily feasting on the spoils of traders who dared travel without escort.
