Psionic Potential

The psionic potential is a genetic trait found in certain individuals and sometimes in entire species. Possessing this trait means that one can--with proper training--manifest psionic powers.
Note that there is a noted difference between having the psionic potential and being fully psionic. Psionic creatures like aboleths and mind flayers have innate psionic powers. Individuals with psionic potential however, need special training and conditioning to access these powers.
On Erdos, all humans have psionic potential. It is estimated that roughly 70% of orcs and 50% of drae possess it as well. Dwarves (except for duergar) hover at about 30% while a meager 10% of stregoni possess psionic potential.
