The One and the Prime
"I am ultimate law. All other law is tainted when compared to me. I am order. All other order disappears when held to my light. I am structure. All other structure crumbles when brought against me. I am perfect law."Also known as The One and Prime and the Supreme Modron, Primus is the immortal ruler of the Empyreal Universe plane known as Mechanus, and the creator of the modrons. It is a very recent arrival, its church and faith having been established only during this past decade. For the average Erdosian, Primus is just another of the myriad deities of the multiverse that happens to have a presense on Erdos. To knowledgeable scholars however, Primus' establishment of its religion here is a monumental event. For all the eons that it has existed, Primus had never promoted active worship from mortals, never bestowed magic to mortal clerics, and had never had a church founded in his name. At first, some even challenged the notion that the first self-proclaimed priests of Primus trully acted with the blessings of the One and the Prime, but these doubts were quashed by the arrival of modrons to serve them. None knows what caused this paradigm shift, but about ten years ago, Primus called upon its right on the Compact of Heaven--something it had never done before--allowing angels to serve him and spread his divine ethos accross the Physical Universe. His faith is primarily centered on Aldarnor, where his church has its headquarters.--Primus
