Basic kypellation was a natural advancement of the smelting process with the advent of the first wizards. Metallic ores from Qindesh were taken to the local wizards of Old Tomet, and the black monometal (red when pure) from the Ore du Paraganas was directly extracted in the hand without the need for hot bloomeries or excessive post-processing. Monometal production from various ores eventually lead to the development of bimetallic and, more importantly, trimetallic alloys. The incorporation of Lapis Prásini was first, producing red and blue bimetals, and then with the addition of Black Dune Sand, proper Red and Blue Trimetal was produced.
