Sanctuary of Solitude

Area surrounded by mountains and deserts, the Sanctuary of Solitude has been a safe haven for those who wishes to live with their prayers worshiping whatever gods they are worshiping. Sanctuary offers living quarters for everyone who seeks solitude, as long as they wow not to harm anyone during their stay at the sanctuary.
Sanctuary is self dependent, and no king nor queen rules the area. All people at the sanctuary attend to the upkeep of the area by attending the morning and evening rituals, which have been providing food and water to the sanctuary.

The Rituals

The Ritual of water:

Life in the desert requires special rituals to make to possible to survive and Ritual of the Water is a daily ritual, that ensures that water is still found on the wells of the sanctuary. Everyone gathers around the sanctuary courtyard in the morning to perform the ritual of the waters. Main chanter starts the singing and everyone follows the chanting with their eyes closed. Chant tells the same story about the stonecutters who build the sanctuary and digged through the earth's crust to find water and how Heriard did the spell binding to have water flowing as long as the chant flows in the sanctuary.

The Ritual of Binding

Evening ritual is even more important than the Ritual of water. Every evening Awakening ritual is needed to keep the Rosalie's Crows bound to the mountains and to keep Klath safe of famine and destruction. Every person in the monastery donates five drops of blood onto the Bowl of Binding. Bowl is then set in the middle of the sanctuary inner yard to strengthen the every evening ritual. In the morning the bowl is always empty. Because of the ritual, all people arriving the sanctuary will receive a small needle to help out their participation of the ritual.

Surroundings

Land around the sanctuary is very barren desert all around that there are hills and mountains around the desert. Very few take the journey to the sanctuary due the barren desert land. Heat goes up to 50 degrees celcius very easily on sunny days.

Heriald

Founder of the Sanctuary was Heriard, a man who had a dream of living free of fear and prejudice.
After years of founding the Sanctuary, Heriard was seen climbing up the hill and he now sits there lifeless looking after the Sanctuary. Legends say Heriard will once again rise up from that hill and return to the Sanctuary when his god has given him the gift of resurrecting the barren wastelands back to life. It is now 500 years when Heriard climbed to the hill and never returned.
