Not much is known of Captain Entiape's past. It is rumored that she once led a successful counter attack against some religious zealots trying to reclaim Cradle by force. It is also rumored that she might have led the insurrection. It is known that in 4989u she was present at the destruction of the Gliese 581c Union outpost, but her role in it is unknown. All that is truly known about her is found in her official SIC record. She was approached by SIC CEO Arlan Sigard to captain a Merchant Class vessel in 5008u, to which she accepted. Since then, the SIC Fortuna has become one of the most successful ships of the company.
