The Syndicate

The Syndicate is what remains of the Brummbär old government. During the dark age of the station, between mining station and city, a small group of colonists remained. They fought off pirates and organizations alike, keeping the station alive until it became a city. Eventually a new government took over, one voted in by the people, but a proud group of Brummbär descendants remained.
     Now Syndicate has devolved into a mercenary group that exerts power over Ogygia and rules over Hypogeum. Only those in positions of power are true descendants of Brummbär but that doesn't stop anyone from being able to join. They continue the fight in the dark to take back control over Brummbär.
     Each of the members of The Syndicate lead their own gangs. A majority of their influence and money comes from heists and robberies throughout the city. Constantly at odds with the police and one another, it's best to make sure you know whose side you are on.
     One of the primary gangs used to be the Viper Pit run by Echidna, but she has sense disbanded the gang.
