SSC - Smith Shimano Corpo

SSC is the second most powerful corpo-state in the galaxy, however, unlike the others it holds very little physical territory and does not participate in expansion. Originally dedicating itself to researching combining human intelligence and AI, the MONIST-1 event changed their course. They now focus on genetic manipulation, forced evolution, and cybernetics to create the “perfect human”. As they say “SSC does not sell people, it sells potential”.
     The few planets SSC controls fall along the Sierra Madre Line, however, their influence and goods are spread to the very edge of the galaxy. SSC’s virtual campus is a virtual space, known as the Constellar Congress, and is only accessible through SSC ports and internet. It is where most of SSC citizens “live” and business is done.
     Constellar Diplomatic Corps are SSC’s way of expanding their influence. CDC reach out and create connections with communities of genetic interest. CDC are usually accompanied by Constellar Security to make sure they can infiltrate governments without hassle. Usually combat does not happen as SSC mechs being present is enough to remove any thought of a fight. Constellar Security are usually recruited from SSC planets where the people have been genetically bred for the job.
