Shack: WIP
In the grasslands outside Hadlen's Rest, the party can find a witch's house on a hill. Her name is Poppy Carrow and will not be home at first, out gathering herbs from the surrounding area.
Acquisition:
They can either look for her, wait, or break in. She will not take kindly to the latter and may attack when she returns home.
The House:
Inside her home, they'll be welcomed with warmth and the smell of cinnamon. It's spacious inside with more seating than one would expect for someone who lives so far away from town. It's one story. In one corner is a bookcase and wingback chair, in another corner is her kitchen and dining area, another holds her bed, and the last is where all of the chairs have congregated around a table with a crystal ball on it.
If they were invited in, the chairs will gallop to the players, inviting them to have a seat and then running back to the table. The witch will offer to scry one person for the party, to let them see where they are and what they're doing. This can be a loved one or an enemy, for example. Be cautious of giving away too much information about the person. This is meant to be a check-up, not a spy session.
Rewards:
- If the players were invited in, they get the session to scry someone.
- If there was a fight and they manage to beat the witch, they can raid her home for spell books and magical artifacts like amulets and rings.
