Of Talent and Showmanship

A flamboyantly dressed Crepusca flutters to the front of the room. He produces a marionette from his hip of a golden Crepuscan woman dressed in a tutu. The puppet is lovingly made, the colors vibrant and well-polished. She's beautiful.

He motions for the lutenist to begin their song and begins to make her dance for the small crowd.

Her movements are graceful and practiced, flowing smoothly with the music, with fluttering wings to help her glide through the air.

The puppeteer's expression is soft and fond, love and longing pulling his features into what could possibly be a smile for a moth. His palps flutter happily and tug into a broad expression as the song draws to a close. He and the marionette bow politely to the applauding crowd, who had gathered for a talent contest. He gently hooks her to his hip and leaves the stage.

Acquisition:

It's time to put on a show! What talent will you display for the entertained crowd? Will they love it? Will it confuse and delight? Will they hate it and boo you off the stage?

A boy runs through the streets, passing out flyers that tell of a coming talent show. Tonight and tonight only! There will be musicians and actors alike, ready to show off their skills and hope to win one of three prizes.

The party can join in if they like; they only need to sign up by dinner time at the local tavern, Jessie's.

The Show:

The talent show will include comedians, vocalists, and more. It's up to the GM to decide how many acts they want to describe.

• 2nd: A tiny pot with a talking, sassy succulent

• 3rd: A living umbrella with grass, flowers, and mushrooms on top
