Kelfra

Multiple, massive serpent heads turn slowly to face where they last heard a whisper of movement. Without eyes, they rely on sound and scent to find their prey. They rise to strike, their pink underbelly glinting in the light of the morning sun. Snapping forward, one head clamps its jaws around the helpless victim, injecting it with venom and killing it almost instantly. The kelfra tips their head back and swallows their prey whole.

If one can miraculously collect their venom, it can be sold for an extremely high price. Their spines are sold as gifts, to be used like daggers.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

They're primarily found in Noctre where it's warmer. They will not be found in colder regions like the northernmost parts of Garthspire and Luhren.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

They're usually shades of green on their backs with pink underbellies. The length of the spines on their backs are the only indication of whether it's male or female. The females typically have longer spikes. There's little variation beyond that.
