Desert Frost: WIP

Acquisition:

Something is changing the temperature of the desert. A portal has opened up and Frost Arcaris are crawling through and changing the environment around you.

Frozen Desert:

There's a definite chill in the air, and yet it's the middle of the day in a desert. It shouldn't be this cold out, and yet, around you, there are bits of frost and ice forming on the ground.

Frost Arcaris are hungry mites and feed on the blood of their prey. It's difficult to survive an encounter with one because they stab into the creature they've caught in order to access their blood.

Resolution:

• They must be killed, and the portal must be closed. An anti-magic type of spell or damaging the stone doorway that makes up the portal can accomplish this.

Rewards:

• They can pull resources from the carcasses, up to the GM's discretion.
