Demsin - Luhren
- Primarily a farming and fishing hybrid town.
- There's also an excellent fur trade, with its proximity to the forest to the east.
- A very superstitious place, they're not unkind to strangers but they're not usually the most welcoming either. Their warmth for strangers is primarily out of necessity and worry that they'll upset Fereken, the god of charity and divination. They're one of the few places outside of Garthspire that recognizes this god.
- Speaking of divination, they take the practice very seriously, and the city has several seers. Marhren is the most well-known and trusted of them, though it's actually a young man named Gerfeld who truly has the gift. It's mostly unknown, however, as he doesn't advertise his ability. He would rather remain unnoticed by the general population. Marhren isn't a charlatan, but his gift isn't as powerful.
