Blooming Wraiths
The flowers this time of year are quite beautiful. The colors are vibrant, and their fragrance permeates the air. It would be nice to pick them to make a bouquet for your dining table, wouldn't it?
Oh, but don't pick those flowers, the ones that shimer with golden light. Yes, they're the most beautiful in the meadow, but they're the deadliest. You see, picking them wakes the wraith within. The specter will crawl out of the bloom, spear in hand, and attack the one who plucked it from its slumber.
They sometimes have blooming vines creeping up their spears, the flowers shimmering a sickly, spectral green; and they wear no armor, just rags that may have once been clothes. It's believed that they're made in ancient battlefields, the spirits restless and having never been collected by Leta.
