For anyone with more funds than patience, Precision Orbital's "P.O.D. Pod" is a godsend (hehe). Launched any one of the six "fulfillment barges" in geosynchronous orbit around Lyra III, your purchased payload can be at your feet in as little as 30 minutes*.
The return of used pods provides supplemental income to rural and impoverished communities, just one more way P.O. gives back.
*Delivery times may very due to payload size, payload weight, local payload legality, weather, air traffic, orbital traffic, local zoning, etc..
Rumor has it that wealthy clients are able to order payloads of a more kinetic variety and discrete wetwork assets for hefty fee.

Power Generation

A single Type A Power cell drives the minor systems on board. Should the payload require more power, Type B Cell will be included. The "Rapid Operation Center" package will include compact bioreactor, fuel processor, and raw biomass hopper.

Propulsion

The standard model has no active propulsion systems. The Pod is first launched in a precise braking orbit from the fulfillment barge. After burning off enough speed, the parachute is deployed and coasts to a landing.

Weapons & Armament

Defensive armament varies by level of insurance held by the client.

• Basic: A tamper-proof seal and anti-theft alarm
• Plus: Basic features plus non-lethal shock deterrent system
• Premium: Plus features and "Vanguard" defense drone.
• VIP: All of the above plus the ablative creramic heat shielding and parachute are replaced with a low profile gravity harness and stealth coating for discrete delivery.
