Lagash - the Last City

Created by

The world is broken.
The gods and empires that used to rule the world are no more. Beset by monsters and abominations, by petty feuds and brutal wars for power, the world was shattered - a town, a city, a nation at a time. When magic itself turned feral and wild, the land convulsed and mutated. All was lost.   Only Lagash still stands, the Last City. As the world seemed like it was dying from disaster after disaster, refugees came together for their last stand. Elves and orcs, humans and kobolds, all united by their defiance of what seemed like certain doom. When no one else came from the wild to join them, the city shut its gates and endured.   Lagash has survived the apocalyptic storm for over a hundred years. A metropolis has slowly grown around that first, desperate fortification, its walls grown long and tall but scarred by countless battles. The last city has shielded its inhabitants through countless battles that seemed like it would be its last.   And now, for the first time in a century, the storm has abated. The attacks on Lagash are no longer so frequent, the monstrous eruptions of magic have calmed. For the first time in a century, the survivors of the end look beyond their walls to the old, broken world and make plans to reclaim it once more.   Lagash still stands, and from its gates, adventures set off into a world unlike anything that came before.   The world has been reborn.
Lagash - the Last City is a heroic, post-apocalyptic fantasy setting where heroes reclaim a world wrought unrecognizable by apocalyptic disasters. It's made for D&D 5th edition, and later on for Paizo's ORC.
