For most of his life, John Smith was a faithful butler to Lord Glover. He started as the stable boy and worked hard to become the head servant and personal butler to Lord Glover. When the old lord passed away, John Smith continued to be a faithful servant to the new Lord Glover. He had his reservations but did not voice them. Even though stranger and stranger men came to the house, he kept to his duties. On the fateful day of July 10th, he witnessed the murder of Lord Glover and his men, who were revealed to all work for the Shadow Cult.
As the sole individual considered to be related to the late Lord Glover, John Smith assumed control of the Glover estate, taking up the responsibility of breeding dragons. With his newfound wealth, he initiated various charitable endeavors within the community, organizing and hosting numerous charity events.

As usual, John dutifully served tea and biscuits, even though many guests requested ale instead. Another group arrived, a battered and bruised band who insisted they had received invitations from Lord Glover himself. John promptly informed Lord Glover of their arrival, only to realize it was all an elaborate ruse.
As it turned out, this battered group was an adventuring party renowned for their heroics. They had gained fame for thwarting a series of hostile takeovers in several inns across Mos Eisley Dragonport. However, all the evidence pointed to Lord Glover as the mastermind behind these acts, suggesting he had orchestrated the takeovers to recruit more followers. The secret plans he safeguarded in a vault within the estate hinted at a sinister mission to storm The Council hall and steal a priceless relic hidden deep within its basement.
The confrontation rapidly escalated into an all-out battle. As Lord Glover ordered John to unshackle his personal protector, a young adult red Dragon, John began to question the side he had aligned himself with. This doubt led him to take refuge in a broom closet, away from the chaos.
As the battle subsided, John cautiously emerged from his hiding place, only to discover the adventuring party alive and in the midst of rifling through Lord Glover's office. They revealed to John that the enigmatic individuals and Lord Glover were all part of a more sinister organization known as the Shadow Cult.
Following the tragic demise of Lord Glover, the manor now rested squarely on the shoulders of John Smith. As the closest thing to kin to the late lord, he became the inheritor of the Glover estate. One of the most coveted aspects of the estate was its dragon breeding. For generations, the Glover family had maintained a lineage of majestic dragons, many of them champions of dragon races.
With the newfound wealth, John became a generous benefactor to the surrounding community. He orchestrated a series of grand charity events, where nobles and commoners alike gathered to raise funds for various causes.
