While he was the first, Unele was not the only disciple of Shraenire to be born after the split. Shraenire finally brought the first three followers together in the night at an abandoned and partially destroyed church from before the split.

Certain extra devoted followers of Shraenire will develop a powerful ability known as a shadow familiar gifted by the lord of shadow himself. They take the form of great beasts manifesting out of the shadow of so-called "Shadow-wielders", three of these wielders who had never met another like themselves finally were brought together, following the orders of Shraenire. Unele with his tiger familiar, was met with a dragon born controlling a great snake and a wood elf with a massive falcon. When they saw the emblems displayed on each other as told by Shraenire they knew that he had led them to find each other. After this event they would work together for the sake of their god.
