The shadow legion is the name given to Shraenire's followers, for years leading up to the solstice they killed and murdered thousands so Shraenire could break free from the nine hells.

The shadow legion were the followers of Shraenire. Together they killed thousands of people over multiple years using every possible method. Naidak summoned the tarrasque which killed thousands before a meteor summoned to destroy it killed even more people and the tarrasque as well. They planted a plague in the once great city of Casrea which killed even more people, thousands died and turned into un-dead who killed even more. Shraenire helped them kill by granting them immense shadow magic and in that process of thousands of sacrifices gained more and more power.
