The Solstice of Shadows was the event that solidified Shraenire's immense power, when he finally escaped from hell and into the material plane. The sky clouded over with shadow and monsters rose up all over the world, Shraenire plunged his blade into the core of the world and Laeriss split apart.

On the The Solstice of Shadows Shraenire was summoned by The shadow legion from the pits of hell on the winter solstice during a lunar eclipse. He summoned terrible monsters and killed thousands before finally plunging his blade into The World Core (Energy field), splitting apart Laeriss into many continents, sending the entire atmosphere and continents into the sky. The rubble which fell was destroyed by the core and sent into space to turn into the second moon and create two giant rings around Laeriss. Finally Shraenire was sealed away into The singularity by sixteen powerful servants of sixteen different gods, the solstice ended but the effects would show forever in the broken planet.
