Celestial forest

The celestial forest is a large woodland which lies at the northwestern edge of Rena, it is enchanted with the sacred magic of the god Lenesel. The forest is home to celestial creatures, dryads, woodland creatures, and an amount of treants comparable to an army. The power of the forest originates within the Chapel of Lenesel located in its heart and the Sacred River running betwixt the trees. A massive sheet of teal moss covers the entire floor of the forest and the trees have branches which curl into the air in elegant spirals.

Geography

The celestial forest is very topographically varied, at one point the mossy forest floor may seem completely flat, yet you may find yourself walking off a cliff by accident. It often rains in the forest so the soil is quite damp and many rivers run throughout the area. The Sacred River provides an infinite source of water for the creatures and life living in the forest, as some say that its water has great healing properties.

Fauna & Flora

The forest floor is completely covered by enchanting teal moss, the trees of the forest are around thirty feet tall and medium height. Of course many of these trees are treants in disguise, serving the goddess Lenesel and protecting the forest. Celestial creatures roam the deepest parts of the woods, some say that unicorns have been found within the heart of the woods as well. Woodland creatures enchanted with holy magic roam, their bodies covered with teal markings and patterns. Tall mushrooms up to four feet tall grow above the magical soil which cultivates all life within the forest, this soil has the power to make plants grow amazingly tall.

Natural Resources

The forest is rich in wild animals, rare creatures, and enchanted soil with the power to grow immensely large plants. The goddess Lenesel teaches in the merit of hunting and living off the land, though if the treants of the forest see one hurting the land, wasting its bounties, or simply ridding the land of life for material gain, they will not hesitate to strike them down as instructed by Lenesel. The soil of the forest is extremely valuable though, and given freely as long as those who take it are respectful of the land. Plants grown in this soil may be many times larger than one would expect and produce amazing bounties.
