GnIA

The GnIA stands for the Gnome Intelligence Agency. Its origins are murky.  The agency was officially active the last time the Labyrinth was open. Begun as a secret organization of garden gnomes it has evolved into a vast network of spies. The primary mission is to gather intelligence and disperse the information to relevant parties.  With the Labyrinth hidden and presumably closed, the network has grown enormously. However, with the governing bodies asleep or in hiding, the network has developed an underbelly in which information is sometimes dispersed to less savory entities. There is also a bit of a rebel group growing within the agency that wants the GnIA to have more power and potentially become a governing entity rather than just a passive one dispersing information. Some of the discord comes from the garden gnomes who feel like they are treated worse than the gnomes. They feel like they began the agency and, as such, should be accorded more respect.  In addition, there are some territorial disputes raging between the different regions resulting in faulty information being passed on which has led to some dire results. While everyone waits to hear the fate of the the two sisters, there are rampant rumors that a black magic wizard is trying to force open the Labyrinth. With so much going on in the supernatural world, the GnIA leaders are trying to pull the network together since accurate, trustworthy information is more important than ever. The leaders of the supernatural creatures have depended on the GnIA for the information needed to make life altering decisions. The GnIA has maintained neutrality, being neither good or evil. The other intelligence communities may have loyalties to their own kind and hidden agendas. The GnIA was so secret that only gnomes and the Supernatural Community Leaders knew the agency existed.
