Nemo

The children of elves and mortals are rare, and rarer still are the scions of gods. These children are one in a generation, and typically manifest talents from their divine parentage while also bearing some quality that sets them well apart. Nemo's birth resulted from the last act of a dying fertility god, and he's been gifted with an incredible singing voice and the ability to manipulate both prana and the Girdle's energies with his songs. However, he has dark blue skin from head to toe, a pair of curled horns and thick blue-black hair framing golden yellow eyes. To say he stands out is an understatement, and bereft of a god's protection as a child, life growing up in Hisarlik proved cruel.   Nemo's mother died when he was seven, leaving him alone as a peculiar street urchin who swiftly gained the attention of powerful elements in the city. He initially sang in the shadowy courts of criminal lords, but swiftly found service as another commodity. Nemo clawed his way out of that life and became an adept blackmailer, almost starting a criminal cartel of his own, but Hisarlik cracked down on criminal activity and sent most of the big organizations scurrying like cockroaches. Nemo instead hunted down those who had abused him and exacted vengeance with his magical voice, but he eventually needed to leave the city.   He wandered for a while, fancying himself a freelance adventurer, but ill fortune follows him whenever he is not in the city of his birth (and one could argue it followed him there, too). After running afoul of the man'di south of the city, Nemo finally scraped together enough money for a skyship, which was commandeered by a privateer from the Seven Kingdoms within a month, leaving him stranded on a small island in the Middle Sea.   Nemo is often sullen and withdrawn, and trusts no one. His voice is incredible and he can move others to emotions he barely allows himself to feel; dark humor masks most of what he speaks, when he chooses to.
