Medium Skyship

The most common category of skyship is also the most diverse. Several major cities throughout history have had shipyards and different designs, and with the care that elves and dwarves in particular put into their vessels, some skyships have been flying for centuries. Commonly used by merchants, pirates, governments, and nearly anyone else, ships in this category have several things in common despite the endless variations.
Most are roughly one hundred feet long and require a crew of two to four. (Most can be flown by a single pilot, but additional crew is helpful for manning the sparse weapons on the craft or troubleshooting issues that occur in flight.) The average speed of these craft maxes out at 40 mph, and most can tolerate all but the lowest prana areas. A single magicannon is standard for such craft, and further modification typically cuts into either the speed or the ability to the craft to stay in the air barring additional (expensive) modifications.
